Coral jewelry has a timeless appeal, and is more popular than ever today. It's really our specialty and one of our favorite types of jewelry. The demand for coral continues to grow despite new trade and harvesting regulations.  All of our coral jewelry is vintage and has been in the U.S. for many years. Coral is an organic gemstone and unfortunately, coral reefs are endangered. They are threatened by warming ocean waters, harmful bacteria, pollution, and destructive fishing methods. Fine coral jewelry is getting rarer and more expensive all the time. Think of it like an investment, the price of coral jewelry will go up, because the supply is very limited.

The premier coral on the market is still "oxblood" red coral which is from the species Corallium. Most of it harvested in the deep waters of the Mediterranean and polished and cut in Italy or Japan. Pink or Angel skin coral is always popular and commands a high price too. We have some pieces that are nearly impossible to find elsewhere.  Lots of our customers say they didn't even know there were so many different types and colors of corals.  Did you know it occurs naturally in lavender, black, blue, white, and of course every spectrum of red. Many people have never seen real Apple or Tiger coral.  You have not been able to import it into the USA for decades, so the only sources are antique and vintage pieces. This vintage coral necklace has a fabulous art deco look. It is composed of red coral pieces with a mother of pearl center and black lucite laminated pieces. It is designed as a collar style necklace. It is finished with a sterling silver chain and a spring ring clasp. See a close-up of the coral. Very good condition, a few scratches to the black on the back~ Circa 1970.

This modern style coral necklace has three large panels that take center stage. It is composed of three types of coral- red, apple, and tiger mixed with mother of pearl and black onyx too. It is designed as a collar style necklace with round coral and onyx beads on the sides. It is in excellent condition. There are matching red coral clip on earrings. See the back ~ Circa 1980's.

Blue Denim coral and red sponge coral are combined to make this lovely necklace. There is a red coral and mother of pearl pendant hanging down the middle. Matching blue denim coral earrings on gold kidney wires. ~ Circa 1970's.

Vintage Native American coral and sterling screw back earrings. These large handcrafted earrings have a leaf and berry design with natural red coral cabochons. They have a dark oxidized background which makes the red coral really stand out. Marked Sterling - circa 1930's. See the backs.

These designer earrings are composed of genuine Red Coral and black lacquer. They will be a lovely match with any of the lion coral necklace and several of the red coral strands. They have a sturdy black plastic backing and gold tone posts. Wonderful condition ~ circa 1970's

Beautiful tiger coral earrings in a tear drop shape. They are outlined in a black plastic, and it makes a great contrast for the coral. The backs have gold earring posts. They will match well with the lion necklace above. Very good condition - Circa 1970's.

Lovely red branch coral is wired on to these screw back earrings. They have a nice freeform design and would match wonderfully with several of our branch coral necklaces. The coral is medium red in color and is all natural, it has not been dyed. Very good condition ~ circa 1940's

This vintage brooch is made of natural red sponge coral. I love the veining that is seen through out the brooch. This coral has not been dyed or color treated and has visible pores. It has a gold tone pin back and is in very good condition. Circa 1970's. See the back.

Roar! This vintage necklace is so much fun! It is composed of genuine tiger coral beads (10mm), black onyx, gold rounds. The lion pendant is a mosaic of tiger coral and black onyx with mother of pearl eyes. Circa 1970's. It has a gold spring ring clasp. See the earrings below that will match.

Lovely Italian angel skin coral necklace. The coral beads are all natural and haven't been treated or dyed in any way. The necklace is a wonderful quality and the coral has a nice, shiny luster. The coral beads are 10mm rounds that are hand knotted on a pale pink silk. It has a beautiful 14k fish hook clasp. The necklace is 19 inches long~ Circa 1970's. This vintage necklace is composed of 10mm angel skin coral rounds and 12mm fluted ivory beads. Each bead is hand knotted and there are 14k gold spacer beads next to each ivory bead. The combination is just beautiful. This is high quality natural coral that hasn't been dyed. It is finished with a 14k gold clasp. Circa 1970. See a close-ups 1 & 2

Another pretty red Italian coral necklace. The coral is all natural and hasn't been treated or dyed in any way. It has graduated long spiky branches that are over 1½ inches long in the center. The coral is a nice orange red color and has an gold tone spring ring clasp that is unmarked. ~ Circa 1970's.

The coral is all natural and hasn't been treated or dyed in any way. These beads are 10mm rounds with a 14kt gold spring ring clasp. Excellent condition - no chips or cracks.

Lovely vintage white coral necklace that has just been hand knotted on silk. The coral is a true white with a beautiful polish. It is a very high quality. The coral is all natural and hasn't been treated in any way. These beads are graduated from 6-10mm and have a 14kt gold spring ring clasp.
