These beads have long been prized by Native Americans and have been rare for years. Recently a new find of the shells was made, and we are so happy to have them in stock. Size: 8mm $42.00 for 18" strand	These very smooth Paua Abalone disks are from New Zealand. The Paua abalone shells have a lots of greens and blues in them. They are double-sided, drilled through the sides and laminated for shine and durability. We also have matching Paua Pendants available. Gorgeous ! Size: 15mm $30.00 strand

Same paua abalone in a double-sided larger oval. Combine these with pearls, mother of pearl, or silver for dazzling results. They are worth it! The base color is a combination of tan and silvery grey with some of the typical blue-green abalone patterns and even some orange streaks. The beads are polished to a smooth finish on both sides.
