This beautiful brooch has it all... rhinestones, enameling and a pearl belly. It is really a lovely vintage owl pin with green and red enamel accents and clear rhinestones surrounding its eyes. It has a large pearl in its belly. See the back. circa 1950's

It is possibly from the "Thief of Bagdad" which was a popular theme in the 40's.It was designed by Goldstein and Lustig under patent # 144,052. Cute Poodle Dog Brooch in excellent condition. It was made by Boucher and also has a design number. Great gold tone textured finish on this pin. I love his black enamel nose and eyes. A wonderful trio of horse and buggy pins. It is so rare to find a set of three vintage pins. They look identical, just graduated in size. They are very nicely cast with a lot of intricate details. Wonderful figural pin of an Asian Princess's head. She has a pouty face and is wearing a crown, large hoop earrings, and she has a pearl under her chin. This pin is unsigned, but was made by Selro and is from their Oriental Goddess line. Its a very collectible pin and we were thrilled to find it. This is an authentic Takahashi wooden bird pin. These little jewels were hand carved with exacting details, and then expertly painting to match the colors of the real birds. Up to ten layers of lacquer were applied to give the birds shine and to protect their paint. That is why this bird's finish is so smooth and still looks perfect after many years. This bird is a male Scarlet Tanger and is a vibrant red with black and teal feathers. His feet are wired on a real twig and the pin back is attached with push pins. These are all indicators of an authentic and collectible Takahashi bird. This exact bird pin is featured prominently in Julia C. Carroll's book Collecting Costume Jewelry 303 on page 112 and on the back cover. - Unsigned, View A , B - See the back.

Wonderful rare and vintage Frog Brooch by San Francisco Bay Artist Mary DeLave. The Pin is a plastic cast piece that is hand painted with a resin coating added for shine and durability. Mary no longer makes jewelry, so each piece is becoming more collectible. This frog has nice bright colors and a great folk art look. It is in excellent condition.
