Mexican Silver & Vintage Silver Jewelry

We offer a broad spectrum of collectible silver jewelry. Being based in Texas we always have a good supply of Taxco, Mexican silver jewelry, as well as Native American silver jewelry. The southwest style of jewelry remains very popular in our area and its popularity has increased all over the country. Considerable efforts are made to research each piece and describe it as best we can. These beautiful pieces are all vintage, and have not been polished. Many collectors want the original dark patina, so we leave that choice and duty up to you.

Wonderful abstract sterling silver pendant and earring set. When I found the set the pendant was hanging on an old piece of leather. There isn't a hole in the pendant, the cord or necklace can run through the top section. The matching earrings are on sterling posts. Marked 925 - See the earrings, back.

This is a long sterling silver beaded necklace made in Taxco, Mexico. The beads are strung on a sterling chain and measure 8mm. The beads are very nicely made and have a soft patina. The necklace has a heavy and secure push clasp closure. ~It is in excellent condition and It is signed TM-93, Mexico but the rest of the mark is illegible. Long and lovely contemporary sterling silver earrings. These are handcrafted earrings made of sterling wire wrapped around silver beads, and the center section rotates. The wires are hanging below a round earring post. They are a beautiful modernistic design. Unmarked but tested Sterling - Circa 1960's. See some other views A, B.

Mexican earrings with traditional tribal face masks carved in black obsidian. There is sterling silver bead work surrounding the masks. Screw back earrings signed Hecho En Mexico 925 and Initials~Circa 1930's

Wonderful antique Taxco sterling cuff links with a turquoise inlay. They have a T-Bar mechanism that works well, and they are in excellent condition, they have not been polished and have a great old patina. They are simply marked Taxco, Sterling in a circle. Pre-1948

Handmade Mexican sterling link bracelet in an Aztec design. There are small pieces of malachite gemstones inlaid into the design. Very nice silversmith work, has a secure push clasp. Signed Mexico 925 TM-275.

Handmade sterling silver pin with a cut out flower in an oval frame. This is in the Danecraft style, but the pin is not signed. It has a dark patina and looks like it has a lot of age to it. Pin closure works very well ~ See the back.

Vintage sterling silver feather pierced earrings. There are etched silver posts with black onyx cabochons below them. There are two beautifully detailed feathers dangling off them. They are in excellent condition and both marked sterling. See the backs

Handmade Taxco Mexican sterling silver brooch in the shape of a fish. It is inlaid with colorful abalone shell. This piece can be worn as a pendant or vertically as a pin. It has a clip on bail on the back as well as a c-clasp pin. It can easily slip over a chain or leather. Signed STERLING 925 TAXCO MEX POD with the Eagle 3 assay mark. See the back. Circa 1940's

Sterling silver earrings that were hand made to look like old worn cowboy hats, these will be perfect for the country and western fan. They are pierced earrings and they are signed 925 Mexico, TB-48. See the back. (The earring backs are included)

Handmade Native American sterling silver pin with inlaid lapis in the shape of a feather. This is a traditional design used by several Native American Tribes. It has an older style trombone or tube clasp which was used from 1890-1930's. Signed with a partial stamp that I can not read. Circa 1920's ~ See the back.

Unusual handcrafted sterling silver earrings that are water pitchers. Wonderful craftsmanship on these rare old beauties. You could remove the earrings and use them for charms as well. They have some minor dings and the bottoms are not perfectly round. Screw backs signed Mexico Silver~Circa 1920's

Here are an adorable pair of Dutch Children in sterling silver. The boy is carrying a potted tulip and the young girl has a watering can. The children are wearing traditional clothing and shoes. The pins are in excellent condition. They are marked Sterling on the backs. - See the backs

Delicate filigree butterfly pin totally made of sterling silver wire. The wires were expertly formed into this beautiful butterfly. It has a lot of detail and was expertly made. Very good condition -See the back. Unmarked but tested to be sterling. Circa 1940's.

Handmade sterling silver pendant or pin with inlaid chrysocolla in a channel design. There are matching inlaid spears dangling below the pendant. It has a large circle bail on the back as well as a pin. It can easily slip over a chain, leather or neck wire. Signed 33, 925, Mexico, TS-33 and a double tree logo. See the back.

Native American made cuff links with a stamped design. They have an angled T-Bar mechanism that works well. They are marked Sterling on the back. See the backs and the mark.

Fabulous tie bar by a famous Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda, who worked with Wm. Spratling. The tie bar features a simple modernistic design in pure silver. See the other views A, B, C, D and back. The piece has a dark patina and is in excellent condition and the spring works great. It is clearly marked under the mechanism: Sterling Silver 970 Mexico- an Eagle with 17 & Antonio's Crown logo - Circa 1953

Very cute little smiling mouse made of sterling silver with a honey amber belly. Lovely translucent amber with visible inclusions. It is signed 925 and some initials.

Lovely sterling silver earrings that are fashioned into leaves. They have a lot of depth and dimension, really pretty. These heavy sterling silver clip on earrings are marked Mexico, TC 55, 925~ This mark is attributed to Toño - Excellent condition

Antique sterling silver pin in a circular design. This heavy well made piece of jewelry. Has a fabulous dark patina. It is signed 925 Sterling and there is a partial mark that has Tasco written in script. The partial mark and the design appear to belong to Maricela - manufactured by silversmith Isidro Garcia. This is a sterling silver star pendant that is 3 dimensional. It was made in Taxco, Mexico. It has a large bail on top that will slip easily onto most necklaces, cords or wires. It is signed on the bail TC-120 925 Mexico- See the bail

This sterling silver ring is a large oval in a shadow box design. In the center is a large shell cabochon, that is a light pink mother of pearl. See some other views 1, 2, 3. It is signed Sterling and a P. The inside of the ring has a nice wear pattern which you like to see on genuine antiques. See the back, and the signature.

This sterling silver bracelet has three bars curved into a lovely open shape. It is very easy to get on and off, and will fit any wrist. It is has a shiny polish and is in excellent condition. Marked 925 on the inside.See some other views A, B, C.

Lovely hinged bracelet with brass and silver overlays of aztec designs and warriors. It has very nice engravings and castings with fine and delicate details. Handsome figural brooch of an Arabian thief with a turban and scimitar. It is possibly from the "Thief of Bagdad" which was a popular theme in the 40's.It was designed by Goldstein and Lustig under patent # 144,052. It is listed in the Book, American Costume Jewelry: Art & Insdustry, 1935-1950. It is in excellent condition. - Signed Sterling- Circa 1946 ~See the back

This is a large sterling silver pendant in the shape of a shell. It has nice large bail to slip on a chain, leather cord or a neck wire. It is really pretty and was made in Taxco Mexico, an area known for its beautiful silver work. Signed inside the bail-925 TN-49. See the back.

Fabulous Native American necklace in a traditional design that includes three beautifully detailed feathers. The central pendant has a vibrant piece of blue turquoise set in a silver domed shadow box. There are 2 inch long feathers on each side of the pendant. The Navajo craftsmen are masters at creating the most beautiful Turquoise Jewelry. The necklace is in perfect condition and is signed Sterling W. See a closeup, See the back.

Long Silver Chain with a Taxco Ankh pendant. The Ankh is an ancient Egyptian symbol of life (actually an Hieroglyphic sign). It has a spring ring closure. It is signed Taxco Mexico 925 on the bail of the pendant. See a closeup of the pendant and see the signature.

Arts and Crafts necklace with a unique pendant made of petrified wood. It dangles from a 17 inch sterling silver chain. It is in a sterling setting that has nice silver craftsmanship around the sides and on the textured back. Probably Native American made. Here is an adorable pair of earrings with the design of a mother and her kitten. They are sterling silver and dangling from french wires with blue glass accent beads. Vintage Taxco Mexican sterling silver clip on earrings. These large handcrafted earrings are circular with black obsidian bezel set in the centers. Marked MEXICO TL-17 925 . See the back.

This cat is adorable, its made of sterling silver and has a long fluffy tail. It has nice engraved details. The pin in in excellent condition and has some oxidation. It is signed AP and sterling - See the back.

Terrific Hans Hansen sterling and black enamel oval cuff links. This Danish silversmith is a highly regarded modernist designer. The ovals are mounted on curved bars marked 925 s Denmark and the older Double H mark and 850. Great collector pieces. Circa 1920's
