Coral Celluloid Floral Ring

Vintage gold plated filigree ring with a lovely coral celluloid flower in the center. The oval design is a raised relief of a flower in the center of a field of petals. The ring has an ornate rope design and adjustable. Celluloid was patented in 1868 and was among the earliest types of plastic and was often used to imitate coral.
