A lovely guilloche enamel pin from the 1920's. This is a classic enamel and gold filled pin with lilac, red and green flowers. This hand wrought pin is a diamond shape and has an older style C clasp that works well. It is rose gold and is in excellent condition. The pin is unmarked.
This pin's diminutive size qualifies it as a lapel pin, collar pin, lace pin, or lingerie pin. Small pins like this were popular and used to hold a proper lady’s undergarments in place. Since a Victorian lady would want something elegant, even for her undergarments, pins were often decorated with gemstones, pearls or enameling. It would also be wonderful as a Doll Brooch or Barrette.
