Italian Millefiori Pendant Sterling Necklace

This is a gorgeous vintage Italian Millefiori glass pendant necklace. It features a large round handmade Italian pendant. The millefiori pendant is prong set in a silver frame, it has red, green, white and blue cane flowers in a lovely design. The Italians are famous for making jewelry and collectibles by fusing colorful cane rods into gorgeous floral designs. Millefiori literally means 'thousand flowers', because the glass canes are fused and cut to look like there are little flowers and hearts inside the glass art objects.
