Carved Angel Skin Coral Pig Pendant Bead Vintage
Intricately carved Angel Skin Coral Pig pendant bead. This is a vintage Japanese figural piece, in the form of a standing pig or hog. It is a gorgeous pale pink color with some splashes of darker pink. There is a hole straight through the middle of the pig's back. One of a kind piece expertly carved from a single piece of natural angel skin coral that has not been dyed or treated. It is 25mm long and stands 16mm high.
The pig is the 12th sign of Chinese Zodiac and represents luck, overall good fortune, wealth, honesty, general prosperity, symbolizing a hard working, a peace-loving person, a truthful, generous, indulgent, patient, reliable, trusting, sincere, giving, sociable person with a large sense of humor and understanding. Pigs are also said to be a sign of virility. Prominently displayed in the bedrooms of couples trying for children. This is said to be a natural offshoot of the fact that Pigs always have a huge litter of children.
