Cherry Millefiori Black Glass Cabochons 6 Japan
These are Cherry Brand multi-colored glass cabochons. They were made in Japan in the Italian Millefiori style. These are very nicely made with colorful cane stars that look like flowers. They are shiny glass that is domed on the top and flat on the back. The cabochons measure 12mm in diameter and 6mm high. Sold in packs of 6 cabochons.
The Cherry Brand was known for producing high quality glass beads and cabochons almost always made between 1945 and 1952, in Osaka Japan at the end of WWII. Their glass artisans copied many bohemian and Czech designs. This brand is sought after by designers and collectors.
