Rust Venetian Striped Chevron Trade Beads

Early 20th century Venetian chevron striped beads. These 4 layer Chevron glass beads are tube shaped with flat ends. They were created in a multi-step process involving fusing glass canes, then slicing them so the stars appear. They have a rust glass core with even yellow stripes.  The finish is nice and glossy. They were made for trade in Africa.
