French Military Insignia Pin 21st Batallion by Drago Paris

This is a French military insignia pin manufactured by the famous insignia maker Drago Paris. It features a silver-colored eagle in mid-flight soaring over a mountain peak landscape. The Number "21" is positioned amidst the mountain peaks at the bottom and set against a distinct purple/violet-blue enamel background. 21 is the number of the battalion in the 3rd regiment of the French Army. The Eagle symbolizes the historic heritage of the 3rd Infantry Regiment (traditionally known as the Régiment du Piémont), which often incorporated an eagle motif in its distinct unit badges.
