Gorgeous vintage Navajo multi-gemstone and sterling silver necklace by Roie Jaque. This large handcrafted necklace features Sleeping Beauty Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli, Green Gaspeite, Red, Orange and Purple Spiny Oyster Gemstones. The mix of shapes and colors in this piece is just captivating. He mounted the heart, oval and pear shaped gemstones into sawtooth silver bezels all connected on pendants. The pendants are linked on a handmade paper clip chain with a hook and eye clasp. The necklace length is adjustable because the hook can be attached any where on the chain. It is in excellent condition and is a wonderful piece of Navajo Jewelry to be treasured in your collection and worn for any occasion.
Roie Jaque is an accomplished silversmith with very high quality and collectible designs. He was born of three Native American Indian tribes: Pueblo of Laguna Acoma, Chiricahua Apache, and Navajo. He was brought up as Navajo and in the ways of the Navajo cultures. Roie speaks, reads, and writes the Navajo language, and is enrolled with the Navajo tribe in window rock, Arizona.
