This sterling silver heart charm has a lovely dove carrying an olive branch on the front. This is often called a peace dove and it was popular in the 1940's during WWII. The dove represents the bird in the bible story that was released from the ark by Noah after the flood. The bird was sent to find land and came back carrying an olive twig in its beak. There are intricate feathers on the dove's wings and a repousse floral border. The back is marked sterling and is hand engraved with Aunt EB.
We will include a split ring so you can easily add it to a bracelet or chain. Circa 1940's
Size: ¾ inches
