Goldstone Oval Gemstone Cabochons

Beautiful Goldstone oval cabochons. They are a man-made reddish-brown glass stones infused with glittering copper flecks to create its eye-catching sparkle. First made in Italy, goldstone is glass that contains a myriad of tiny, angular, copper crystals. It forms by the reduction of particles of copper oxide within the glass during a process called annealing. Goldstone has been used in jewelry making for many centuries. These cabochons look fantastic bezel set and are the perfect focal point in Rings, Pendants and Bracelets. These cabochons are flat on the back and domed on the top, they have been polished to a smooth, shiny finish. Mint - Unused condition
