African Millefiori Trade Bead & Brass Necklace Vintage

This is a wonderful ethnic necklace composed of antique African Trade Beads. The largest beads are fabulous Italian/Venetian Millefiori beads from the early 1900's. The Italians are famous for making these beads that have vibrant colors with multiple delicate floral canes. They have a black inner core with blue, white, yellow and rust cane flowers.  This fabulous necklace includes cast brass beads in between the tubes. They are strung on a cord and can slip over your head easily.

This necklace is from the estate of a Jewelry/Bead collector in Houston.  These antique beads have some chips and dings, which add to their beauty and story.
