Carnelian Pendant Sterling Silver

This is a lovely handcrafted oval carnelian pendant.  It is bezel set in a thin sterling silver rope frame. The cabochon is 25 x 40mm and domed, it is a deep reddish brown color. The pendant has a large bail on the top that can easily slip on a cord, chain or necklace. Carnelian is an ancient gemstone dating back to the bronze age, it was believed by the Romans to be a stone of courage--able to shore up confidence and strength.
