This magnificent crown brooch is set with 3 large glass cabochons, 2 emerald and one ruby red. A line of green baguettes frames the brow, with a row of blue rhinestones above it. Sparkling blue and white rhinestone accents are pave set on the remainder of the crown. The sterling is plated in gold. This brooch was designed by Alfred Katz and patented in 1944, with design patent #139100. It appears in many jewelry books and is a very sought after piece.
