This gorgeous necklace features Aventurine Venetian Glass Beads from the Isle of Murano in Italy. They are white with copper bands swirling through out. The design is called sommerso, which means "submerged". The glittery copper colors are submerged in a clear glass encircling the white. The gold or copper flecks are called aventurine, it is a type of glass, based on the original Italian name aventurina. The effect is gorgeous and these are special focal beads. In the between the glass beads are gold filigree connectors and small gold beads.
