This is a vintage Catholic St. Christopher Medal Keychain from the mid-century. This is a two-sided silver plated medal with or medallion with St. Christopher on the front and a space to write your Social Security Number. The back says I AM A CATHOLIC IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT KINDLY NOTIFY A PRIEST. The ball-chain style is similar to military dog tags, and could have been worn along side of them to ensure proper burial or chaplain services.
