Antique Victorian Era lucky horseshoe pendant. A fabulous gold and pearl pendant made of 15kt gold, which indicates an English origin. The horseshoe is elegantly set with lustrous natural split white pearls that are beautifully matched. Horseshoes have been a symbol of good luck for centuries and were very popular in the Victorian age. Looking at the back, I think it was originally a pin that has been converted. It has a nice large bail on the top that will easily accommodate most chains.
- Hallmarked 15CT
- Circa: 1890
- Size: 20 x 15mm (without the bail)
- Weight: 1.7 grams
