Natural Carnelian Gemstone Carved Leaf Beads (4)

These leaf beads are carved from Natural Carnelian. The leaves are 3-D and very nicely carved. They are high quality gemstones in all the shades of natural carnelian. Carnelian was believed by the Romans to be a stone of courage--able to shore up confidence and strength. You can see there are natural color variations within them. They look like fall colors to me. They are drilled vertically down the back. The holes are hidden on the back.
