Victorian Gold Filled Bracelet by HF Barrows

Gorgeous antique gold filled etched or repousse bangle bracelet. The Victorian Era bracelet has a beautiful floral design on the front. The back has a plain shiny finish. It is a beautiful gleaming gold color and features gently rounded, smooth edges with deep repousse/engraving on the front. The bangle is hinged and opens and snaps close well.  This type of bracelet was often given as a wedding or engagement gift. It was made by H.F. Barrows jewelry company from Attleboro, MA since 1854.  For decades this American firm made high quality jewelry including watch chains, bangles, lockets, and necklaces. H.F.B. jewelry company was founded by Henry Francis Barrows, Sr. and the firm was passed to his sons Henry, Jr. and Ira. The bracelet is in very good condition with a few light scratches and one small dent on the back.
