This designer necklace is composed of a gold chain with dangling rhinestone balls. There are sparkling rhinestones are set at graduated lengths from 1-2 inches, to form a lovely cascading collar style necklace. Carol Dauplaise worked for Miriam Haskell from 1958-78 as an in house designer. She formed her own company in 1978. The locking clasp has the Dauplaise hallmark with the iconic patented clasp that she used on a lot of her early necklaces.
