Antique red Olombo trade beads made of pressed glass. These African trade beads are a faux coral known for their distinctive reddish-pink tone, which was highly valued in traditional African cultures. These red trade beads have a ridge in the center and were typically made during the early 19th century in European workshops and later traded to West Africa. The bead sizes vary on the strand from 13-15mm with 4mm holes.
