Charoite Round Pendant Sterling Silver

This is a lovely handcrafted sterling silver pendant with a gorgeous Charoite cabochon.  It is bezel set in a decorative sterling silver frame. The cabochon is 23mm round and domed. Charoite gemstones are a striking mixture of purple, lavender, gray and black with a pearly luster; ideal for creating unique and interesting jewelry pieces. Charoite was only discovered in the late 20th century. This rare variety of silicate mineral is found exclusively in Russia, near the Murun Mountains. The pendant has an extra large bail on the top that can easily slip on a cord, chain or necklace.
